The story takes place in Pittsburgh on 1987,  the main character, Jesse Eisenberg, who is an uptight a high school graduate discovered at a graduation dinner that his parents can not pay for his graduation gift. So now he’ll have to get a degrading minimum-wage job at a local amusement park instead of spending his dream summer in Europe with his buddies.

Watchmen

Set in an alternate world in  1985,  a nuclear war is imminent between America and Russia. The superheroes long ago had to retire due to a government-sponsored Keene Act, but that all that changes with the death of  one of the superheros, The Comedian. This leads Rorschach, a superhero not willing to give up his job, to investigate the death of his former acquaintance.
